Splitting the Heavens

Chapter 1492: Azure Ruling World and Spirit Frost World Pt.6

Chapter 1492: Azure Ruling World and Spirit Frost World Pt.6

On the edge of the Solitary Star Region in the void, almost 1,000,000 miles away from the Earth Stars...

Guided by Yan Ming, and escorted by Shang Xia’s External Avatar, Song Zhen, and Zhu Nang, the merchant fleet finally arrived at the spatial vortex the Ying Brothers mentioned they could use to reach the Azure Ruling World.

In the void tens of thousands of miles ahead of everyone, a massive vortex large enough to cover hundreds of thousands of miles spun really slowly.

Zhu Nang looked at the distant vortex, which seemed almost still, and said, with a face full of doubt, "Can we really get through this?"

Even though they were so far away, the True Immortals on board could faintly sense the distortion and attraction to the surrounding void. They knew that passing through it would be a problem.

Even Song Zhen showed a hesitant expression and turned to look at Shang Xia’s External Avatar, asking, "Has there been any more news from the lord?"

The External Avatar shook its head, "No, communication with my true body has been completely cut off since we entered the Solitary Star Region."

Zhu Nang muttered under his breath, "With such a huge spatial vortex, it’s no wonder communications are cut off."

Ignoring Zhu Nang’s mumbling, Song Zhen turned to look at Yan Ming, who was deep in thought and fiddling with a small object in her hands. He asked, "Young Lady Yan, has there been any progress?”

Yan Ming looked up somewhat blankly at the three of them, clearly having not paid attention to their conversation.

Song Zhen had no choice but to repeat himself before asking for her opinion again.

After thinking for a moment, Yan Ming turned to look towards the rear of the merchant fleet and said, "I need to act simultaneously with Xin Lu. Our Star Compass will serve as a guide."

Saying this, Yan Ming shook the small object she had been fiddling with in her hands at the three of them and added, "However, the smaller Star Ships should not follow. Gather some of the mid-to-high level elite experts on the large-scale Star Ships and our Spirit Ark.”

Song Zhen nodded; he had already intended to do so after seeing the huge vortex.

Zhu Nang couldn't help but swallow a few times and say with widened eyes, "Can we really get through this?"

Yan Ming glanced at him and snorted, "How do we know without trying?"

"Try... If we try and fail...” Zhu Nang almost choked on his own saliva.

Yan Ming did not bother with him. She simply tossed the Star Compass into the air and stared at it silently.

It was then that the True Immortals noticed the Star Compass floating in midair and subtly vibrating, with a bronze pointer faintly directing towards the direction of the great vortex.

However, Song Zhen quickly noticed that Yan Ming was staring at the Star Compass, distracted. He couldn’t help but ask, "What's wrong?"

"Xin Lu seems... She seems to have become a Grand Stargazer!" Yan Ming gasped softly.

"Grand Stargazer... Fifth-rank?" Song Zhen suddenly realized what she said and he started to buzz with excitement.

Zhu Nang and Shang Xia's External Avatar also looked astonished, although the External Avatar quickly revealed a smile, Zhu Nang thought that he had heard wrong.

In the Chaotic Sea of Stars, the legend of a rank five Grand Stargazer was even rarer than a Sage!

Yan Ming reached out and grabbed the Star Compass, then turned and headed towards the wooden platform specially set up for her on the Star Ship.

"Xin Lu is ready on her end, I'll lead the way, follow up!" Yan Ming's voice seemed much colder as she turned away.

Song Zhen and Shang Xia's External Avatar exchanged glances before Song Zhen declared, "Then I will protect you while you guide us there!"

Shang Xia's External Avatar laughed, "Then I will take charge on the Spirit Ark."

After saying this, both of them turned their gaze to Zhu Nang, who was still immersed in the shock of the fifth-rank Grand Stargazer.

Zhu Nang blinked innocently and stuttered, "So... Do I just take charge of the last Star Ship?”

...

In the Azure Ruling World.

The Ying Brothers, who had sealed their cultivation, were stuck in a tough battle.

However, contrary to expectations, the ferocious combat power displayed by the Ying Brothers, despite being limited by their cultivation levels, far exceeded everyone else’s expectations.

Originally, Shang Xia thought that after restricting their cultivation levels, the Ying Brothers would barely be able to exert the strength of a third tier True Immortal after using their secret art.

As it turned out, they were much stronger than he imagined.

If Shang Xia himself or his External Avatar was present, he would discover that the rejection of the World’s Will wasn’t as strong as he imagined.

The fundamental reason was the divine weapons they wore on their wrists!

There seemed to be a mysterious connection between those two divine weapons and the world which allowed them to avoid the suppression from the World’s Will, allowing them to fully display their might as third tier True Immortals! n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

It was also because of that that they managed to hold on for such a long time despite being attacked by a colorful bird, a vine-like plant, and the strange warrior Shang Xia suspected to be a fourth tier True Immortal.

The situation faced by the Ying Brothers after forcefully entering the Azure Ruling World was much worse than Shang Xia, but with the Spirit Ark and Star Ship rushing at their world, the tiger-leopard spiritual beast king and the spiky spiritual beast king left, making their situation a little better.

Among the experts of the Twin Star Pirates, another Martial Dipper Realm expert activated the Heaven Liberation Talisman Shang Xia provided and stopped a frog-like first tier True Immortal-level spiritual beast king.

But even so, the situation faced by the Ying Brothers was not optimistic. They could barely fend off their opponents. It was especially so when the mysterious expert wielding the gold and silver light joined the fray. He took up a huge portion of their energy to keep at bay.

The Ying Brothers spat god knew how many mouthfuls of blood and one of Ying Lianxi’s hand had already turned into a bloody mush. His skin was flapping around in the wind and Ying Lianquan had a bloodied hole pierced through his abdomen revealing his internal organs.

And just when the brothers were almost at their limit, accompanied by a thunderous noise that shook the heavens, the heavenly screen of the Azure Ruling World was torn apart, and a large Star Ship appeared. The spiky beast was stuck on its bow as it fell faster and faster through the air. A long line of flames appeared behind it as the Star Ship also started to burn from the fall.

This scene instantly attracted the attention of almost all the sentient beings in the Azure Ruling World. Even the third tier True Immortal-level colorful bird and vine-like plant paused for a moment.

Only the mysterious expert surrounded by gold and silver light seemed undisturbed. He continued a ferocious assault on the Ying Brothers. Their domains were so weak that it looked like it would shatter any moment.

Before the heavenly screen could close, the Spirit Ark rushed in after the Star Ship.

Unlike the previous Star Ship, the ark turned in another direction and sped straight to its destination.

Not too long later, the injured snake and tiger-leopard beast came chasing behind them. Before the creatures could race after the Spirit Ark, the Azure Ruling World started to shake violently.

Turbulent qi whirlwinds rose to the sky, and the heavenly phenomena formed tore through the heavenly screen.

The spiky spiritual beast king that the Star Ship slammed into finally fell! It was the first time a rank six spiritual beast king had died since the Twin Star Pirates’ invasion.
