Chapter 1491: Azure Ruling World and Spirit Frost World Pt.5

The Ying Brothers’ decision to seal off their cultivation was something Shang Xia never expected.

As fourth tier True Immortals, after suppressing their cultivation to the third tier and forcefully entering the Azure Ruling World, they might be able to roam around, but the suppression of the World’s Will would still be massive. It would be difficult to maintain the combat strength of second tier True Immortals.

Fortunately, the clones they left behind were pretty smart and they already prepared an answer for her. Ying Lianxi’s clone quickly explained, “We already have a plan for what is next. However, we had no choice but to take action immediately.”

“Oh? Are you willing to give up your Spirit Ark because of this?” Xin Lu asked with a solemn expression.

Ying Lianquan’s clone chuckled heartily and there he didn’t plan to hide his intentions at all. “Stargazer Xin, you have been stationed on the Spirit Ark the entire time... Do you know why we were able to house so many ordinary people there?”

Xin Lu had been solely focused on her art of stargazing and she neglected a lot of things. However, with his reminder, she made the connection. “You guys... Is there another world fragment stored in the Spirit Ark?! You guys truly hid it well...”

Ying Lianxi’s clone also smiled in response, “This is nothing. This is merely a bit of our foundation since we established ourselves for the past hundreds of years. One of the reasons they surrounded us in the first place was to obtain the world fragment. Not many people knew that we were looking for an Azure World, but there are many who know about the world fragment...”

Ying Lianquan added, “I’m sure True Immortal Shang knew about it as well...”

Xin Lu nodded slowly after hearing his explanation. It was true that she had lost herself in her worries. As long as Shang Xia was willing, he would be able to extract himself from the battle. The reason he remained there was to learn about the high-level experts on the other side.

“In that case... I should head back to the platform. I need to help guide True Immortal Song and the fleet over.” Xin Lu thought back to Shang Xia’s request and quickly declared.

The Twin Star Pirates were truly far too lacking when compared to the Azure Ruling World. Their most dependable method was to rely on Shang Xia and bringing Song Zhen over was their best choice.

No matter what, Song Zhen had dozens of high-level experts and Song Zhen was a third tier True Immortal. He was more than capable of barging into the Azure Ruling World. They also had another first tier True Immortal, Zhu Nang, in their ranks now.

However, the Azure Ruling World didn’t seem too peaceful at the moment. The first tier True Immortal-level beast was heavily injured by Xin Lu after she used the Heaven Liberation Talisman, and the Ying Brothers also heavily injured the second tier True Immortal-level snake beast. When they were attacked by the 4 spiritual beasts, the Ying Brothers dealt heavy injuries to another 2 after damaging their divine weapons.

After paying the price of sealing off their cultivation and forcing their way into the Azure Ruling World, they attracted the attention of the other spiritual beast kings. Even after the Spirit Ark arrived within 10,000 miles from the heavenly screen, no other rank six spiritual beast kings appeared. Only dozens of rank five spiritual beasts appeared to attack the Spirit Ark.

As the Spirit Ark consisted of the final batch of elites of the Twin Star Pirates, they quickly emerged to stop the beasts. As they continued to battle outside the heavenly screen, the Spirit Ark started to speed up.

Seeing as it was getting closer and closer, the spiritual beasts launched an even more ferocious offensive against them but were repelled by the protection screen.

Finally, a rank six spiritual beast king disengaged from the Ying Brothers and rose past the heavenly screen.

At that moment, 2 mighty aura that reached the level of True Immortals emerged from inside the ship.

They quickly fused to form a single entity, and the aura they released reached the next level.

The spiritual beast king was forced back by the members of the Twin Star Pirates just like that.

After obtaining 4 Heaven Liberation Talismans from Shang Xia, the Ying Brothers didn’t give them all to the experts who would infiltrate the Azure Ruling World. They left 2 on the Spirit Ark.

Even though the twins on board didn’t know how to properly wield Shang Xia’s inner qi, they were comparable to a second tier True Immortal after using their secret art.

After being forced back, the spiritual beast kings of the Azure Ruling World didn’t stop there. A second and third spiritual beast king quickly emerged. However, they were both injured.

One of them was a giant snake that had a massive wound that reached the bone in its chest. It was the second tier True Immortal-level beast that was injured by the Ying Brothers.

The other was a giant beast who had dozens of spikes on its back. Almost half of them were broken and there were some that were stuck in its body. Blood was still dripping from its body and it was clear it suffered heavy injuries.

The moment they appeared, they rushed at the Spirit Ark from different directions.

Letting up on the first spiritual beast king, the twins turned to the other spiritual beast kings. In their state of panic, they could only stop the snake-like beast.

The other creature approached the Spirit Ark and let out a loud roar as slightly more than 10 spikes emerged from its back to fly at the ship. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Without True Immortals to block the attack, they could only rely on the protection barrier on the Spirit Ark. However, after blocking 7 or so spikes, holes were torn through the barrier and at least 2 levels of the ark had been pierced through. 3 other spikes stabbed into the side of the ship and the giant ark was pushed tens of miles through the void before finally stabilizing.

The Spirit Ark was damaged, but it didn’t affect the separate space it contained.

After the Twin Star Pirates on board made the proper adjustments, they started to rush at the heavenly screen again.

The creature with the spikes launched another attack and it sent out the remaining spikes on its body at the Spirit Ark. It was confident it could destroy the giant ship that was approaching its world with its final attack.

The next second, 2 different howls filled the air as though they were trying to remind it of something.

The creature already suffered heavy injuries at the hands of the Ying Brothers and because it had to curl up its body to send out the spikes, it failed to notice what was happening behind. Another large-scale Star Ship was barrelling straight into it at a terrifying speed.

With its companions’ reminder, the creature no longer bothered with the Spirit Ark and turned to flee.

2 powerful streaks of lights emerged from the Spirit Ark before it could run.

Exploding around the beast, it blinded the spiky beast for a second while binding it in the void.

The streaks of light came from 2 rank six talismans but they weren’t made by Shang Xia. Instead, they were what the Twin Star Pirates possessed.

As the creature struggled in the void, the effects of the talismans were unable to stop it completely. After a short moment, the light started to dim.

It wouldn’t be long before it freed itself from the restraints, but how could the other Star Ship allow it to break free so easily?

With a miserable cry escaping its lips, the Star Ship slammed straight into it.

Loud cracking sounds filled the ears of those present and they didn’t know if it was the destruction of the ship or the bones of the creature breaking, but the screams stopped and the creature started to fall back into the heavenly screen.

The final cries of the creature seemed to shock the other 2 spiritual beast kings above the heavenly screen and taking advantage of their inaction, the Spirit Ark started to rush at the Azure Ruling World again.

By the time the spiritual beast kings reacted, the Spirit Ark had already passed their defensive line and closed in on the heavenly screen.
