Chapter 188 TIMESKIP!, $20,000,000 Received!
The lead manager, Dave, stammered, "I-I... I'm afraid we need to do a check on you. You've broken the unofficial record in our race. People will speculate whether you've cheated or not."
Noah's gaze turned colder, his voice sharp. "I already told you I don't want the reward. I am not going to do a body check either."
"I understand that, sir, but it's not about the reward. It's abo—"
Before Dave could finish his sentence, Jackson stepped forward, his expression darkening as he cut in. "Didn't you hear what he said? Don't make him repeat himself, or you'll regret it."
Jackson didn't waste time with further arguments.
Pulling out his phone, he dialled a number.
On the other side of the line, Liam, the director of the race, was buried in calls from sponsors and media outlets. The news of Noah breaking the world record had gone viral within minutes.
Seeing Jackson's name on the caller ID, Liam instantly answered. "Hello, Mr. Jackson. What kind of monster did you bring to the race? He broke the world record! I haven't even been able to leave my office from the flood of calls I'm getting!"
"Liam," Jackson replied, his tone curt, "the person you're praising is being harassed by your manager. Not only did he agree to forfeit the reward over some ridiculous clothing rule, but now they're trying to force him into a body check."
Liam's tone immediately shifted. "What? Pass him the phone."
Taking the phone from Jackson, Dave's face paled as he brought it to his ear and heard his superior's voice.
"D-Dave here, sir," he stammered.
"Dave," Liam barked, his voice sharp as a blade, "apologize to Mr. Thompson and his companion immediately. Then get out of there. You're about to ruin everything for us, you idiot!"
Dave didn't need to hear more. His head snapped up, and he apologised repeatedly to Noah and Jackson.
"I sincerely apologize, sir. Please forgive me for my earlier behaviour!" he said in a rush, his voice shaky with fear.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Turning to his team, he barked, "We're leaving now!"
Seeing the scene, Ryan, Noah's neighbour had a shocked look on his face.
'This got has connections too, I need to befriend him no matter what.' He thought, 'Now is not the right time though, I will look for an opportunity near his house.'
After talking to Jackson for a while, Noah headed to his car his next destination the warehouse. He had already signed the contract.
Arriving at the warehouse, Noah headed inside and checked the interior making sure there was no surveillance planted there.
'Everything is good, I can start putting the machines now.' Noah thought as he accessed the system.
...
[Basic-Magical Period Pain Reliever Manual: This manual is every woman's dream. Removes pain of intense period cramps within a minute.]
Effect:
> +1 Pain Relief
> +1 Taste
> Purchase pills: 1$ / 7 pill pack.
> Purchase machine: $2,000 (Automatically turns pill powder into pills)
> Purchase Pill powder: 100$/ 1kg (makes 5,000 pills)
Noah smirked. "Fifty pills will cost me $1. With the packets being a 7-pill pack, I can make seven packs for every dollar spent. This is a solid profit margin since the average cost is around $10 in the market currently." He muttered, calculating before purchasing the necessary equipment and materials from the system.
[Ding! Period Pain Reliever Machine Purchased!]

[Ding!..]
[Ding! Period Pain Pill Powder x100kg Purchased!]
"I've purchased multiple machines to streamline production and stocked up on 100 kilograms of pill powder. With this setup, I should be able to produce around 71,500 packs, each containing seven pills."
He nodded in satisfaction, looking around the warehouse and visualizing the production lines. "This place will be ready to roll soon. I will talk to Jackson to provide some workers. They can't replicate the machines nor the pill powder anyway, and they are part of the group so they will be loyal."
...
"Not bad," Noah muttered, as he looked at the pill packet in front of him.
The machines did the exact same thing as the machines in the teahouse, they took the pill powder and turned them into pills then packaged them into high-quality packets.
As Noah fixed the layout of the machines in the warehouse, he dusted his hands with satisfied expressions.
"This should be good enough," He stated, before leaving the warehouse.
One week later…
Noah had already received the $20,000,000 from Arthur for the 5% shares of the pharmaceutical company. The funds had been deposited smoothly into his account, significantly boosting his resources.
During this time, Noah had coordinated with both Jackson and Lionel to bring in a team of workers for the warehouse. Their tasks were simple, just overseeing operations, and ensuring the machines were running smoothly, by handling the basic tasks of filling and emptying the compartments.
The workers had been instructed thoroughly. All they had to do was place the pill powder into the designated machine compartments, let the automated process turn the powder into pill packets, and retrieve the packets from the output trays whenever they were full.
Noah had preloaded the machines with a large stockpile of pill powder, enough to last for a significant amount of time. This meant the workers wouldn't need his direct intervention for refills anytime soon.
The warehouse was now fully operational, producing the Basic-Magical Period Pain Relievers efficiently. Noah, satisfied with the setup, had begun contemplating his next steps.
In the past week, Noah had also spoken with Arthur, who had secured several deals with major pharmacies across Birmingham.
These pharmacies would sell Noah's products directly, bypassing the need for him to deal with branding or marketing.
Arthur emphasized that penetrating the pharmaceutical market was no easy task, but this six-month trial partnership with well-known establishments would build credibility and trust with consumers.
"Six months should be enough to gain traction," Noah muttered to himself. "Once that's done, I can transition to my own pharmacies and monopolize the supply chain directly."
Meanwhile, the teahouse continued to thrive under David's management. Business was steady, showing no signs of slowing down, and Noah's family was enjoying the stability it brought.
Lionel and Jackson had also made significant strides in the underworld gold market, tightening their grip on local supply chains and generating additional income streams.
Other ventures flourished as well. Walls4Us had expanded its operations, gaining recognition for quality and affordability.
Life had been great for Noah's family, with each enterprise contributing to their growing influence and wealth.
A message notification pulled Noah's focus back to reality.
Lily, "Hi, want to study together?"
Aiden, "Hey bro, can you help me again? I'm kind of worried about the exam."
Reading the messages, Noah glanced at the calendar on his phone.
"The exam is tomorrow," he muttered.
Noah sent them both a message, and they decided to meet up at the library.
...
Aiden and Noah were already seated at the library table when Lily walked in, her graceful strides catching Aiden's attention immediately.
'What's the cold school beauty doing here!' he exclaimed internally, his eyes widening slightly.
When she took a seat next to Noah with a faint smile, Aiden's gaze shifted sharply to Noah, a hint of betrayal in his expression.
'I can't believe it… he already has his clutches on the school belle too. But it makes sense...' he sighed in defeat.
Noah, oblivious to Aiden's internal turmoil, leaned forward with his textbook open. "Alright, our exam tomorrow is history. Let's focus on that," he said, looking between Lily and Aiden, who both nodded in agreement.
"Okay, let's start then. The main topics I believe will come up are..." Noah began, outlining the key points as he flipped through the book.
Two and a half hours later, Aiden leaned back with a broad grin plastered across his face, clearly feeling confident.
"Bro," Aiden said, looking at Noah with admiration, "I just learned more in these two and a half hours than the past month."
Lily, still seated with perfect posture, didn't say much but had a satisfied expression. Her usual reserved demeanour didn't falter, though her silence seemed more thoughtful than indifferent.
Noah smirked, closing his notes. "Good. That's the goal. Let's ace this exam tomorrow. Work more at home, if you find anything difficult just send me a message."
Lily glanced at him briefly, then nodded, although she was very smart and knew a lot about history.
She still benefitted from Noah's teaching, as he didn't just teach the topic but also taught ways to tackle it effectively maximising the marks you get. His predictions are usually correct too, so it was worth it in her eyes.
Aiden, however, still had to shake the nagging feeling of awe and jealousy watching the relationship between his friend and the school belle.
After the study session, Noah headed to his parent's house since the exam was going to be set at his school.
...
The exam day arrived shortly after.
