This was what Alexander described to himself when he saw the figure of the young woman who was leading a procession of Rulers toward the Sacred Gold Mountain!

Her body seemed small, and yet her aura was blazing as if she was as massive as a mountain.

Her face was exquisitely sculpted without any flaws, with her hair surrounded by particles of multicolored radiance as every single particle represented a different Covenant of Nature.

Just...how many Covenants of Nature were swirling around her?

The moment he thought of this.

He felt his Enneagram hum as the Core Feature of The Investigator activated naturally!

One ridiculous thread of information after another came as Alexander only became more serious with each passing moment.

He put together all the threads of information.

His mind worked at extremely high speeds as, in the next second, he calmly looked at the floating young woman whose eyes had begun to shine with a purple light of curiosity.

"What brings you here, Ezraela?"

Arcs of purple lightning instantly flashed around Ezraela as her red lips turned into an "o", her eyes flashing with tremendous curiosity while her figure flashed to instantly appear one meter away from Alexander!

His eyes glowed gold.

His Enneagram hummed and was ready to unleash multiple False Domains at any moment!

Not too far from him, Ezraela looked towards him as if she had found a toy as she asked with a tone full of curiosity.

"How did you know my name? And for you to be here- how did you know I was coming?"

Her gaze was purely inquisitive at this moment as if she held no other possible emotions!

But Alexander knew better.

For her to be heading towards the Sacred Gold Mountain. For her to have been uttering his name.

He shook his head as he replied with another question.

"Don't mind that. I knew you were looking for me, so I came over. What exactly do you want?"

He kept his question simple.

Because even though the entity in front of him felt like a terrifying beast, his eyes also saw a sense of naivety as if she was experiencing everything for the first time!

But he could also see threads of intelligence in those same eyes as he proceeded carefully.

And towards his question, she actually smiled as if she remembered something.

"Ah, I was actually coming to take you with me. I thought you would say no and I would have to convince you like these ones in the back. It was fun to play around with them."

Each word of hers was terrifying as Alexander thought rapidly before replying.

"What do you need me for? You have lots of Rulers behind you that could help you with anything you need."

"Ah, these guys?" She pointed behind her as she shook her head.

"These guys aren't much. I was instructed to bring you into the fold. If you just allow me to touch your head for a second, I will complete this mission."

All sense of naivety instantly disappeared in her eyes as she moved!

Like a snake, her hand thundered across and was instantly an inch away from Alexander's head, her eyes filled with a callous purple brilliance!

An equally dazzling purple brilliance erupted from Alexander, a thin film of barrier bloomed as the False Domain of Nobility descended.

The figure of Ezraela even became pushed back, the action being extremely heavy as if an entire Sacred Mountain was being pushed back!

Her eyes flashed with surprise as she smiled with a sense of sadness.

"You are just like them."

WUU!

Arcs of terrifying multicolored light began to gather around her.

"I thought someone distinguished by the Will of Ephesus would be different from these other creatures. But you also resist. The illusion of a choice. The difficulty of emotions. Can you tell me why even you let such things control you? Can you tell me why I was born, and the first thing I had to do after that was make my way towards you?"

Words that could cause anyone trepidation echoed out, causing Alexander's gaze to change even further!

Ephesus.

It wasn't enough that its own actions decimated millions of those who lived on it, now, the Will of Ephesus itself wouldn't leave him be!

His eyes flashed with a cold light as he looked at Ezraela who seemed ready to erupt with terrifying waves of power.

In this single eruption, the Sky Rulers and Land Rulers behind her moved in a synchronized fashion to surround him.

Yet he kept his eyes locked on the purple figure of Ezraela as he replied coldly.

"My choices do not act as a burden to me. You were told to bring me, I can make the choice to come with you. Where is the difficulty in that?"

His answer caused even Ezraela to open her eyes wide.

"You…would come with me that easily?"

It was unexpected for her.

All the others were defiant in front of her as she had to immobilize them and control them first!

He would come freely?

Alexander's eyes flashed as he nodded, thinking of the illusion of the old man he had talked to when he first inherited the Sacred Gold Mountain as he continued.

"Anything for Ephesus, right? You and I are aligned in this regard. I would just much rather prefer my current state of mind remain as is."

His answer caused her to pause and raise her brows.

Anything for Ephesus.

Was this not her purpose?

She was unlike others as she thought methodically and went for the path of least resistance.

She couldn't be sure how much of her power she would have to use against him if he was someone that the Will of Ephesus wanted to control…his power may be close to hers.

"Hmm…" She placed her hand on her chin and thought.

She wished she could seamlessly ask the Will of Ephesus if this was okay, since it did indeed accomplish her goal if he simply followed.

But she would have to return to that place where she was born for that, the connection everywhere else being far too faint due to how much power Ephesus was actively utilizing.

She nodded to herself as if she had come to a decision, and she released a dazzling smile.

"Alright! Alexander Asmodeus, obtained! Let's go."

Her gaze was cheery as the naivety in her eyes returned.

But it was far from being real.

Alexander nodded as the enclosure around him disappeared, his own False Domain fading away as his mind buzzed with possibilities!

There were a few ways to overcome the current ordeal.

Fighting was one, but the results were not ones he could confidently be sure about.

If his Enneagram Clone joined…even then, he couldn't say with certainty.

But with every passing minute and second, his power was growing ever stronger.

Until then, he could borrow time.

Using the unique disposition of this being and the threads of information at his disposal, he succeeded in this!

Now, he would even get to learn more regarding Ephesus and what exactly this world was doing.

In the meantime, his Enneagram Clone held multiple Ruler's Gems and Covenant Gems.

He was heading back to the Sacred Gold Mountain before, but his target had already changed as he was about to arrive at a certain place.

A place stated by a thread of information from the Core Feature of The Investigator!
