Chapter 317 Scarlet Queen
Being able to see for a bit allowed him to see that he was bound in place and the whole team was pouring energy to maintain it. That became possible due Magic Binder that with the agreement of the ability user he can connect their powers to fuel one ability.
As captain navy was striking with reignited green flame on his Zweihänder sword, Seth left hand moved up and blocked it by placing his hand on his head.
The man angrily pulled his sword back and green flame shifted to thin energy along the sharp edge of the Zweihänder before he cut down at the hand.
By just moving his hand, Seth's vision blurred and he was deeply fatigued. The reason was simple, regaining himself meant his ability had returned and using it caused him to exhaust what he had regained.
He felt a sharp pain on his hand, the Zweihänder had cut through his hand without cutting through the armour.
"Make me recover!" Captain Navy shouted. Using green flame was extremely hard but switching to cleave energy depleted him more.
Seth's left hand went limp and his cut neck was exposed.
He snapped back awake again when the man was striking him.
He was able to think things through before he regained his sight again.
Captain Navy needed the green flame to cut his head to achieve some goals.
Magic Binder was using everyone's power to halt him and they were watching his action closely.
The moon beast was still facing him and due to his connection with the moon he could feel the creature was dying slowly and for some reason he was feeling sad.
Well the reason was, Seth was the one that paid for the creation of the creature in the past and he has no idea how this Blue Iron Cloud got their hand on it.
Having all those variables in his head, hoping they were the only ones, Seth has one goal, stop Captain Navy from attacking him.
And the fact that he had regained himself means he can use one of his abilities. Seth went for the Unslave Chain.
He feared that it wouldn't awaken but it did, however, Seth felt the gaze of the Magic Binder and he felt he can't direct the chains toward the captain.
The mage eyes glowed as they stared at him intently. Seth understood more that the binding they put on him wasn't simple. They disregard all body movement he may do but fixate on his skills he may use.
From red and aura manipulation, his items in pocket, his staff that he can't use and any other skill that he may use. They monitor everything in him and around him.
They don't know of the Unslave Chain, that was why they couldn't stop it activation but they can prevent it from heading toward them.
Seth felt his vision blurring again, he had used the skill and it would just be wasted, he had shifted it to the moon creature.
Chain suddenly sprang up and wrapped around the floating creature. They have protected themselves except for their hidden card. But that didn't change anything.
The beast was dying already and can only use its moon beam ability two more times which will be a complete death sentence.
The very reason the team were content with using it was the creature was new, first of its kind and the condition for it to live wasn't known or doesn't exist yet, so it would die anyway.
The moon creature became silent and closed its eyes and just floated there. The only good news for Seth was that it won't attack him again.
A sharp pain jolted Seth again, his eyes snapped open, just now half his neck was cut and blood was pouring out like a fountain, his hand also pouring out blood.
[HEALTH: Excessive Blood Loss]
'First…' Seth didn't finish the train of thought when he heard something snapped in two.
Both the Magic Binder and Captain Navy as well as some of the members turned behind them in shock.
They have placed an artefact capable of countering Mystic Strike that went beyond the realm of their reality. With it they can prevent deep hidden legacies from resurfacing, or prevent extremely dangerous spells from activating.
Using it they went to Red Valley and escaped with their sanity. They even scour Dragon Burtali avoiding all curses that may be sent their way.
Just now the artefact just cracked in two which means whatever Seth has activated was something so dangerous and powerful that would have changed the battlefield.
Seth wasn't even realizing that he didn't lose his consciousness but was shocked that something was able to prevent his strongest blessing from working.
For the first time Seth showed fear in his eyes, right when they all turned to look at him. The captain and Magic Binder smiled, happy that they went all out to bind Seth.
Captain Navy raised his Zweihänder with green flame and struck down…
'I'm I going to die?' Seth panicked with fear inside him but then it occurred to him he was still awake.
He wanted to activate another skill but then he found he can't, he doesn't have access to any.
The artefact upon preventing First Might has locked him all. But nevertheless, First Might's influence kept him awake.
'This is Destiny!' Seth mentally sighed, his sadness wasn't for himself but because he doesn't know his fate if they succeeded and will his new fate allow him to help his family.
All this struggle and fight was not for him. He won't put his life in danger just for the sake of it but because he wants to elevate his family's conditions, allow them to breathe like humans with freedom.
A lonely tear appeared on his bloodied eyes.
Suddenly, Seth's memory jolted and remembered the time he met the Red Valley Chief. He remembered things that didn't know happened, the man was furious at him as he questioned him about his involvement with the rebels.
But while that was happening, the chief was actually harming his body, he had Seth whole organs and even his aura and brain under his control, with a thought the man would have crushed Seth from inside out. Your journey continues on empire
Fear gripped Seth, even though he was only remembering it, that man was vicious beyond comparison. But who can be the chief of Red fucking Valley if not a derange and terrifying individual.
Something snapped at Seth as he saw his blood weren't pale but normal red, the green flame Zweihänder was about to cut what remained that held his neck together but Seth was afraid of his damn blood…
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!

Far away from the battle field, was an expansive dome with a reddish glow, inside it was a massive city with numerous tall buildings and also canals.
However, there were no people, only birds and domestic animals.
The canals also were filled with red water that moved like a stream, constantly around the city making the white stone city look like it had a blood vein.
In the grand palace, which was made of pillars and large stone in the most exotic way possible were now being decorated with red murals all around it and a dignified, tall middle aged man, stood before one of the biggest pillars and watched murals being made.
There were no painters, it's just a line of red streams coming from the numerous canals and moving on their own making what was needed.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Within the throne room was a magnificent throne made of red stone, red gems and red iron. On it was a young beautiful woman with pink skin and scarlet hair.
She was sitting in attention, her back straight not leaning on the throne. Her eyes were closed, her expressions were serene but one can see that her eyelids were moving as if having a dream.
Her scarlet dress was plain but was made of finest silk that somewhat hugged her but loosened up downward until it spread on the stairs of the throne.
This was the queen of the expansive city, the person Seth known as Retina.
The city was also formerly known as Papalace.
The whole red river around the city was her own river, she has been sitting and releasing it ever since Seth make sat on it.
The red dress was a gift brought by the dignified man who was directing the mural making.
Wherever her river went she saw and felt it.
The city was large on the surface but also went down and had an underground portion. Allowing her to stretch and realize her true potential.
Suddenly, she was in that serene situation, her heart skipped a beat and she opened her eyes, which were the same colour as her hair and dress.
Her gaze didn't wonder but fell on the man. She frowned, the river flow reduced before it continued but her gaze intensified on him.
A chuckle escaped his mouth as he sensed her emotions were in turmoil. He dropped what he was doing and came to her throne and bowed.
