Lin Shen held the egg he had won, feeling quite pleased. He had never imagined that the tuition fees paid in his childhood could ever come back to him one day.

The grade and quality of this egg are not important; what matters is that it was won through the playthings of his childhood.

For several days, the Sky Art Emperor did not summon Lin Shen and the others, nor could the Celestial Court issue the rewards that belonged to them.

Tian Xin returned from gathering information and heard nothing about anyone discussing them at the Sky Art Emperor's place, nor did she understand why the Sky Art Emperor wanted to summon them.

Upon hearing this, Tian Xin hurriedly apologised, "I'm sorry, Cousin, I was just confused for a moment. It will never happen again."

Lord Tian Xun nodded, then said to Lin Shen and the others, "The same goes for you all, no matter where you are, never speak ill of the Heavenly Consort. She is the Heavenly Emperor's most beloved consort. The Heavenly Emperor previously chose countless beauties from all the clans, but now he favours only the Heavenly Consort.

This alone shows her formidable status; she must not be disrespected under any circumstances."

Lord Tian Xun nodded and said, "That's the right way to think. Make yourselves comfortable here, and you should receive news in a few days."

Indeed, just two days after Lord Tian Xun had spoken, someone from the Imperial Palace came to notify them that they were to go to the Imperial Palace for an audience with the Sky Art Emperor.

After arriving at the Imperial Palace, Lin Shen and Wei Wufu were waiting when Ouyang Yudu also arrived, and the three of them waited together to be summoned.

"When you meet Lord Heavenly Emperor later, bow your heads low and do not look directly at Lord Heavenly Emperor, to avoid offending his majestic presence," a Celestial who was leading the way even gave them a piece of advice.

"Thank you for the guidance, Lord," Lin Shen said as he slipped something to the Celestial.

The Celestial glanced at the item and a smile immediately appeared on his face, "You are under Lord Tian Xun's command. Lord Tian Xun has worked tirelessly to expand our territory; even if not for his achievements, his hard work alone deserves recognition. I've always admired Lord Tian Xun greatly and will take good care of you; rest assured."

"Your righteousness is greatly appreciated," Lin Shen said solemnly as he bowed.

"Very well, follow me to meet the Heavenly Emperor. His mood is good today. Answer whatever he asks without hesitation, and above all, do not deceive. Just reply properly and all will be well," the Celestial advised them further before leading them to the Splendid Palace where the Heavenly Emperor resided.

Lin Shen and the others had thought they were being summoned to the grand council hall, but to their surprise, they were led to the Splendid Palace, where the Heavenly Consort resided.

Once they were brought into the Splendid Palace, the three of them heeded the Celestial's advice and bowed their heads, not daring to look around haphazardly.

Upon entering a palace hall, the three of them performed a Celestial's salute and then stood there with lowered heads, daring not to look up.

"Raise your heads," Lin Shen heard an imposing voice coming from the grand hall above. As instructed by the Celestial, he did as the Heavenly Emperor said and quickly raised his head.

He had thought he would be able to see what the Heavenly Emperor looked like, but upon looking up, he found a pearl curtain obstructing his view, allowing only a vague glimpse of someone behind it, but not clearly.

"State your names," the voice from behind the pearl curtain commanded again.

The three of them reported their names one by one, with Lin Shen using the name "Tian."

"Very well, you have bravely reclaimed the Fierce Fire Star for our clan, which merits a grand reward," the Heavenly Emperor said indifferently. "What do you think should be the reward, my dear consort?"

"Let's reward them with a cup of Heavenly Liquid each," the Heavenly Consort suggested as she poured Heavenly Liquid into a cup for the Heavenly Emperor.

"So be it, if the consort has spoken, then let it be a cup of Heavenly Liquid each," the Heavenly Emperor said nonchalantly.
