Many thoughts flashed through Flarela's mind, but she could do nothing but think.

The hand that Lin Shen laid on her was like a nightmare, keeping Flarela's thoughts constantly racing.

Ignoring the cannibalistic glare from Flarela, Lin Shen got up and surveyed the surroundings, spotting Wei Wufu and Ouyang Yudu lying behind a rock, gazing out at the sea.

Lin Shen, holding Flarela, also lay down on the rock and looked in the direction they were staring at.

There, on the reddish-brown sea surface, a crimson dragon was frolicking in the water.

The body of the red dragon resembled a crystal of fire, its tail like a torch, with a flame at the tip of the tail.

It leaped out of the sea, swinging its tail in the air; the tail whipped like a lash, creating sonic booms.

In the sunlight, the dragon's crystalline body seemed to have countless red shadows flickering within, appearing dreamy and hazy, as if its body were composed of rosy light.

"This guy has quite a sales appeal," Lin Shen thought, expecting the Red Flame Starburst Dragon to look ferocious, but it could only be described as divinely handsome, hardly ferocious at all.

"It's naturally cut out to be a mount; riding it out would surely turn heads, never having to worry about finding a mate," Lin Shen remarked offhand.

"I heard there's only one Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon, no one's seen a second, and nobody has heard of it laying eggs. If you want to get a Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon as a mount, your only option is to tame this wild one—you can give it a try," Ouyang Yudu suggested.

Lying nearby, Flarela listened to their conversation and couldn't help but snicker to herself: "How could wild creatures be so easily tamed, let alone a Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon? These humans really have their heads in the clouds."

"I've heard you have a knack for taming wild pets and even tamed a mutated dragon-type creature once. How did you manage that?" Lin Shen asked Ouyang Yudu.

Ouyang Yudu replied, "Actually, it's quite simple, not as complicated as you think. Because of my constitution, I'm more easily recognized by wild creatures, so relatively speaking, it's easier for me to tame them."

"I see. So, do you want to try taming the Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon? Bringing it back alive should count as completing the mission, right?" Lin Shen asked.

Ouyang Yudu shook his head: "Well, to tame it, one mustn't fight with it or harm it. Yet, my power is not enough to suppress it without engaging in combat. Once I've undergone more rebirths and my rebirth count is closer to its, taming it will be much easier."n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Ah, I see, I thought you could tame wild pets at will. If you can only tame pets weaker than yourself, that ability seems somewhat underwhelming," Lin Shen remarked.

Flarela listened more and more and felt that these two people were really adept at pretending, they had completely gone off the rails.

Killing an Ascended Creature was easy, but making an Ascended Creature acknowledge a master was almost an impossibility.

Let alone an Ascension-Level creature, even if it was a Nirvana-Level, no matter how strong the combat power was, it couldn't possibly subdue an Ascended Creature.

The chances of taming a wild Ascended Creature could be said to be one in ten thousand.

Flarela couldn't believe her eyes as she watched Ouyang Yudu dismount from the Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon, and then watched as the Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon obediently lowered its head and spit out the Pet Key, humbly allowing Ouyang Yudu to use the Pet Key to turn it into a Pet Capsule.

"It's been tamed... that was even quicker than going to the toilet... that's the Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon... how did they do it..." Flarela felt as if her worldview formed over the last four hundred years had been shattered by a hammer.

Flarela had a strange expression; these people from a minor race made her feel as if her own knowledge was very shallow.

Flarela's expression fluctuated uncertainly, as if she was hesitating over a certain decision.

Ouyang Yudu handed over Death Powder and Jiweis, along with the Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon, back to Lin Shen.

"I'll take this back first to report, and if I can keep them, I'll give them to you," Lin Shen said.

"I have no use for them, keep them for yourself," Ouyang Yudu shook his head. He really didn't lack pets.
