"Several hundred years ago, due to a wrongful judgment within the sect, the Fourth Elder Walker Shafik was unjustly expelled and had his spirit portal abolished. Elder Walker Shafik, broken and desolate, came to Bloodstone Pass, which led to the establishment of the Walker Family."
"I see." Walker Adam was silent, realizing why the Walker Family genealogy could only be traced back four generations.
"This is all a misunderstanding, senior. If there's nothing else, I shall take my leave," the black robed elder said, his scalp tingling with fear as he now realized the caliber of people he had offended.
Behind him, Stun Zen and Stun Inder were also filled with fear. The seemingly insignificant Walker Family actually had such a formidable power supporting them. Had they known this earlier, they wouldn't have dared to make a move against the Walker Family, even if they had been given more courage.
"Do you think you can come and go as you please? It's not that simple."
The young man's face turned slightly indifferent, and his cold voice emanated from his mouth: "Walker Kandi."
"Swish!"
As his words fell, the Spirit King expert named Walker Kandi behind him slowly raised his palm. A faint purple spiritual array appeared in front of him, and then a purple shadow shot out like an arrow released from a bowstring.
"Get out of here!"
Sensing the powerful aura whistling towards them, the black robed elder was terrified. Without a second thought, he jumped off the back of the Phantom Mirror Bat, just as the purple shadow landed on its back.
"Swish!"
With only a momentary pause, the purple shadow began to weave around the Phantom Mirror Bat, creating sharp purple beams that rapidly flickered, forming a dazzling net of light.
As they watched the net of light, the black robed elder and his companions, who had landed on the ground, were struck with terror and lost their color.
A purple shadow darted around the Phantom Mirror Bat at a dizzying speed. Moments later, it flashed in front of the Phantom Mirror Bat, revealing its true appearance to everyone. It was a spirit beast resembling a cat, with soft fur and enchanting emerald green eyes. Its arms were slender and extraordinarily long, ending in razor sharp claws that gleamed with a chilling light.
"Swish!"
As the cat like spirit beast departed, the Phantom Mirror Bat with its black wings suddenly shrank its pupils. With a squelch, its flesh burst apart, and the clear mirror on its forehead cracked, shattering into countless dazzling fragments.
In the sky, the massive body of the Phantom Mirror Bat was reduced to nothing but a snow white skeleton! And not a trace of blood remained on those bones!
"Boom!"
With the return of the purple spirit beast, the gleaming white bones fell to the ground, creating a deep pit and raising a cloud of dust.
"How could this be?" Stun Inder trembled. In her heart, the Phantom Mirror Bat was an extremely powerful spirit beast, yet in a mere instant, it was stripped down to bare bones.
"Go forth!"
Smiling at the black robed elder and his companions, the young man flicked his fingers, sending the azure wind blade shooting forth. It first slashed across Stun Inder's chest, whose face was filled with terror, then spun around, splitting Stun Zen and the black robed elder's bodies apart.
"Hmm?"
Catching the returning wind blade, a trace of surprise crossed the young man's face. He glanced into the distance, then moved to stand before Walker Adam, saying with a smile.
"Young master, let's head back. The commotion here seems to have attracted the attention of the Sun Moon Empire's experts. Although the Jue Emperor Sect isn't afraid of trouble, the sect master has instructed us to keep a low profile whenever possible."
"Oh, by the way, my name is Walker Kelur," the young man added with a smile.
Walker Adam's throat moved slightly as he swallowed, his mind still feeling somewhat blank. Although he had heard of such scenarios before, experiencing it firsthand felt rather surreal.
Looking at Walker Adam standing there, the people of Bloodstone Pass were filled with envy. Even without knowing the exact role that the Jue Emperor Sect played on the continent, the formidable lineup of Walker Kelur and his companions suggested it was undoubtedly a colossal force.
"Brother Blaze, would you join me?" Walker Adam suddenly turned around, looking at Blaze Regret with anticipation.
When Walker Adam extended the invitation, the gazes directed toward Blaze Regret were immediately filled with undisguised jealousy. Why hadn't such a good opportunity come their way?
"By the way, Elder Mo once mentioned that if you are willing to come to the Jue Emperor Sect, you can receive the same cultivation resources as I do," Walker Kelur said with a smile, looking at Blaze Regret. His tone was devoid of the arrogance typical of a prominent sect, instead exuding a gentle warmth.
As soon as Walker Kelur spoke, the faces of the dozens of Spirit King realm experts in the sky changed instantly. They knew all too well how abundant Walker Kelur's cultivation resources were, resources he had earned through relentless struggle and battle.
However, to everyone's surprise, Blaze Regret merely smiled and then shook his head slightly.
"Thank you for your kind offer, but I prefer to train on my own."
Upon hearing this, Walker Adam's expression showed some regret, while Walker Kelur, beside him, had a gleam of approval in his eyes. It was rare to find someone who could resist such a great temptation.
"Hmm?"
Raising his eyebrows slightly, Walker Kelur cast a curious gaze towards the top of a distant building, where a young man in white stood quietly watching them. His long black hair danced in the wind, and though it wasn't raining, he held a white umbrella in his hand.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
"What a powerful aura."
Gazing at this individual, Walker Kelur felt a sudden chill in his heart, an inexplicable sense of danger. It was a sensation he rarely experienced since ascending to the Spirit Sovereign level.
What do you think?
