Aaron and Protean stood above the sky, staring at the red gateway which appeared out of thin air.

"Should I stop it?!"

"Why will you ask such a stupid question?! Of course, you won't stop it!! We need this for my plan to work!" Aaron said.

Protean slowly nodded his head, his gaze on the gateway. "So what now? Are we going to keep standing here?" He asked.

"No, when the Monsters come out, we need to direct at least 70% to the human empire, and the other 30% to the Elves' kingdom... Then we'll watch the show."

Protean stared at him for some seconds, and nodded his head. "I understand."

"Good."

Aaron fixed his gaze on the gateway, as a huge claw moved out... The two watched as more claws appeared, the gateway instantly grew in size.

"Here we go!!"

Aaron leaped into the air, and activated his earth skill, creating a wall of earth over the place, and two track open.

Dogs with razor sharp teeth, and long claws stepped out, their red eyes moving all over the field... They sniffed the air, staring at the huge earth wall blocking their view.

"Protean, You know what to do."

Aaron said, and dive towards the monsters, more walking out.

Protean sighed, and followed behind Aaron, but landed on the second path.

"You know what to do! Lead them to the Elves' kingdom, don't let the elves see your face!!"

Protean nodded, hearing Aaron's words. He looked at the Monsters and smirked.

GRRAAAAAAAA!!

"Come and get me."

He turned around, and shot forward.

More than two hundred monsters instantly chased after him, with full speed.

Aaron nodded, and turned to his:

"What are you guys waiting for?! Come on!!"

He turned around and run, making sure not to lose the Monsters, who had started chasing after him.

"A human will surely drew more of them." He said.

True to his word, more than 10,000 monsters were hot on his trail, hitting one another all trying to get the tiny human before them...

...Aaron looked over his shoulder, and smirked at the monsters: "Come on, what are you waiting for?! Or are you guys too slow?!" He asked, provoking them.

The monsters' eyes glowed, and their speed increased drastically.

[Two Hours Later.]

Mariel stood above the city wall with her soldiers, mages, staring at the empty landscape before them.

A lady couldn't hold it anymore, and asked:

"Commander, why do you summon the whole army? We are under attack?"

Mariel remained silent, her face serious.

Her demeanor confused the lady even more, with confusion... The lady opened her mouth:

"If we're under attack, get aren't the other soldiers and commanders with us? We shouldn't be the only ones."

Mariel finally turned her head towards the lady.

"You know you ask a lot of questions, right?"

"I know, but I just want to know why we're here."

"If you really want to know, then keep shut, and Wait quietly."

The lady was speechless, even the mages were also confused.

The soldiers froze, and turned their heads to the distance, they frown seeing a cloud of dust moving towards their city.

"Is that?" The lady was stunned.

"Attack formation!" Mariel commanded.

This time around, no one asked for questions, and the second yelled at the soldiers below.

The mages instantly started casting spells.

A huge vortex opened above the mages, and countless long range attacks shot down, from fireballs to icicles spears, all shot downward heading towards the monsters.

"Time to move."

Protean muttered, and leaped into the air, flying away... Before the monsters could turn towards him, the attacks from the elves collided on the front row... Disrupting their lines.

The others were enraged, they forgot Protean, and shot towards the City.

Hearing the explosion, the king walked outside, and flew into the air, hovering above the castle... His two sons walked outside, and looked at their father.

"We're under attack." The king said in mild surprised, and looked down at his son.

"What are you two waiting for?!!" He yelled.

Orion and Andrew looked at one another, utterly speechless.

"Mariel was right."

"Not Mariel! But Aaron!! Let's go. I must win the bet." Orion walked towards his room.

"Send word to Visco... We need him and the soldiers."

"Sorry father, but commander Visco is still wounded... I'll lead his soldiers."

Maxim stared at his first son with frown, but with the monsters attacking, he didn't have much choice.

"Ok, go and get ready." He said.

"Yea!"

The two nodded and walked away.

Maxim stared at them for some seconds, and closed his eyes, trying to send a link message to the other four commanders.

"Although they didn't kill him, it still helped us in our plan... Ok, You know what to do now; kill as many monsters as needed."

"Yes." Andrew nodded his head.

While they were preparing to defend, Mariel and her soldiers were busy holding the monsters back with their high-class spells...

"Hold them back!!! Use whatever skill needed!!" Mariel yelled, while the Mages released more spells, throwing the thousands of monsters into chaos.

*Commander Mariel we are here!!"

Andrew, and Orion said, rushing to towards Mariel, the two in armors.

"You're here! We need Ricky, where is he?!" She asked, walking towards them.

"Commander Ricky is on the way from the east frontier... I don't know how long it'll take before he arrives so, so we're on our own." Orion said.

"We won't be in this situation if you have believed Aaron, now look!" She said and turned around to face the Monsters.

"My mage are running out of Sid energy, and all the high-class energy restoration potion have been used... We must think of a why to stop these Monsters!"

GRRRRAAAAAA!!

A huge humanoid monster walked forward, a club in hand.

"Is that an ogre?" Andrew was stunned.

"A fucking Beast-ruler!! How can we defeat that?!!" The lady yelled.

"Don't give up, we must survive this!!!" Mariel yelled, and Commanded:

"Mages, target your attack on that Beast-ruler!!"

The mages nodded, and turned their attacks range to the Ogre.

Whoosh!!!

The attacks all collided heavily on the Ogre, raising a cloud of smoke.

Everyone watched in anticipation, but to their horror, the Ogre walked out of the smoke, not even a scratch on its body.

"This?!" Orion was stunned.

"This is bad! I said we call the King... He's the only one strong enough to face that thing... But, where is the grand elder, who work for Kara? He should be able to help us!!" Mariel asked, turning her head to Orion.

"For weeks now, No one knows the council of elders' whereabouts... Even the Grand priests seems to be ignoring us." Andrew Said, his gaze fixed on the monsters.

"Something might have happened to them!" Orion sighed, and drew out his sword.

"If that monster reached the city, It'll destroy the whole capital and kill everyone!! I can't let that happen."

"What are you doing, Prince Orion."

"Going down, and fight... What do you think?!" He asked back.

Mariel and Andrew froze seeing Orion jumping down the wall, landing outside the city, right in front of the gate.

"What are you doing, Brother?!!" Andrew yelled in horror.

"Protecting our kingdom!! Aurora isn't the only one that can protect the people!!" He yelled.

The gate opened, and more than ten thousands men rushed out, some on horses.

"My King, your horse is ready!!"

A soldier brought a horse, but Orion rejected it... "I don't need it."

Without wasting a second, he shot towards the horde of monsters.

"This?" The soldier was stunned.

He turned around and yelled:

"Kill the Monsters, and protect the prince!!!"

"Yes!!!!"

The others yelled, and charged forward.

The monsters bare out their teeth, and lunged towards the soldiers, colliding with them.

"Mages! I know you're tried, but we need to protect the Princes!!"

The mages on the wall nodded, and started casting magic spells, targeting them on the Monsters closest to Orion.

"I can't stand here and watch!!"

Andrew drew out his sword, and leaped down... Joining the battle.

[Some miles from the battle.]

"These guys have strong hearts, but the Beast-Ruler will only kill them... Now what should I do? Stay here or go and check up on Master?" Protean asked himself, standing on a tree.

"No, I'll stay here."

He said, sitting on the tree, watching the monsters and the elves battle one another for dominance.
