Chapter 2405: Next abomination lackeys

Chapter 2405: Next abomination lackeys

Sam is very familiar with the phenomenon.

The sprouted vine quickly grew out of the beast, constantly sucking its vitality. Soon, the

beast completely lost its life, meanwhile the vine kept on spreading to the beast next to it and the one next to it.

Sam turned around. With a wave of his hand he let his beasts back into the divine dimension.

"The problem of the land abomination lackeys in the surroundings will be solved soon.

Just put some skilled people on a task for me. The vines growing out of them will give out some fruits. Tell them to collect those fruits and bring them back to me." Sam instructed Triala as he went back into the room he was given.

There the maps are still spread out marking various positions of the abomination lackeys' groups as well as the location of the settlements. The land abomination lackeys are indeed the easiest to take care of.

They are all mostly beasts that are reliant on the land. So, the vine's spread will be easy and quick.

But Sam highly doubted that the same could be applied for the sky abominations and the water abominations.

He has to find a different way. He could use the similar principle of gene targeting, but has to find the medium that works well in conjunction with the natural habitats of these lackeys.

While Sam is rapidly thinking of the solution for his next steps, Triala and the rest of the city are in for a treat.

She already sent scout groups after the escaped commander level abomination lackeys. While awaiting their reply on how things are going, they witnessed the growth of the vines from the lackeys that are right in front of their eyes.

These lackeys are numerous and they are damaged mostly.

However, they are trying to recover. Only problem is that from the first vine, the vines are targeting the lackeys and are draining their vitality at a rapid pace.

Just like Sam said, there are some fruits growing out of the vines. The more lackeys they killed off, the more fruits that they are making.

She immediately sent her subordinates to pluck them while they examined the lackeys. She is surprised how easily they are dying.

While she is doing that, in the forest, the scouts are following the four commanders that are moving in four different directions.

From what Sam learned, these lackeys all have a few things in common.

First one is that they all operate on instinct. They don't have any tactics and they don't do ambushes and stuff. Only if the lackey is of special kind and it retains some of its nature before it turned, will it do something like that.

Second one is that they are all hostile to normal creatures, both beasts and humans without any discrimination. They stay hostile and they will try their best to kill them.

Third one is that when for some reason a creature from the group is separated and defeated to the point it needs quite some time to recover, they always end up finding a different group nearest to it and go there.

So, Sam is counting on these commanders to find the nearest groups and go there. It is not like they don't know the location, but if these creatures did go there on their own volition, things will be a lot more easier for Sam.

He could be assured that the spread of these doesn't have to be done manually by himself. A lot of it will be done automatically.

And right now, what he wanted is happening.

The wolf type commander is the fastest one among them and is running at full speed in the direction of its own territory. But as it tried to go faster it felt the disturbance in its flesh.

The vine soon started spreading all over its body coming out from various parts, in the end, even before it could reach the location, it collapsed on the ground.

The vine grew way too big sucking in the enormous amounts of the vitality within the creature's body. Even the fruits are coming out in dozens. The scouts hesitated to see if they should go and get the fruits, after all, Sam did ask to bring those fruits around, but he only mentioned about the creatures in front of the city.

Not these.

As they are wondering what they should do, they sensed some movement not too far away. A group of creatures, both humanoid and otherwise are coming there. They are all land abomination lackeys and they seemed to have locked on to the location of the scouts.

Their vitality might be too high for them to hide it in this forest.

The lackeys kept on running and the scouts also turned around to flee. But even as they took a few steps, they noticed that the foremost creature that was about to pass the dead body of the wolf commander was caught by the vines.

As the lackey tried to get out, the vine tightened and suck all of its vitality.

Not just that one, even the other creatures are the same.

Some of them struggled and cut down the vines, the fruits hit the ground and broke. When a lackey stepped on it, the seed within the fruit started sprouting immediately.

The creatures are going down.

The scouts looked with their mouths wide open as these vines kept on spread until they reached the location of the lackey group. The whole area within minutes transformed into a large vine coiled around a bunch of skeletons. And the vine is lush with bright and juicy fruits. Similar scenes unfolded with the other commanders as well.

At this moment, somewhere far away and deep inside the layers of earth, within a cave, a humanoid figure is sitting down in meditation. He is absorbing the surrounding vitality from the earth. And suddenly he sensed some disturbance in his psych.

His body covered in rocky scales and a few sprouts of leaves here and there. He looked extremely like The Thing from Fantastic four. Except the sprouts of leaves of course.

He opened his eyes and started sensing his connection with his lackeys.

"A general has died? So many commanders? Near Triala's settlement?"

He muttered in confusion. He couldn't make sense of what he is sensing.

"How?

He is indeed more fixated on understanding how this happened rather than the loss of the creatures. After failing to comprehend and draw up any speculations, he stood up and started moving out. He just dug out of there and came out in the middle of nowhere.

All the while he activated his generals that were on standby while relocating the lackeys to fill the gap created by Sam.

Being the abomination himself, he cannot move around freely.

Of course, the abomination is not the only one that noticed the changes. Ronx whose territory is closest to Triala's territory is also keeping an eye on the movements. And his scouts even though didn't notice how the vines grew out of the seeds and killed the creatures, they did notice that a group of earth abomination lackeys, between their territory and triala's territory

have disappeared.

The news went to Ronx immediately.

Ronx became anxious. The whole reason that he managed to keep his position is because of his strength. Until now, it is obvious that he is the only one that has any possibility of clearing a lackey group or fighting a general. In fact he is the only they hoped that could fight with an

abomination.

But now, in a single day, the effect of the newcomer can be seen at the borders of his territory.

This made him feel anxious.

He hurriedly called for an attendant.

"Have you guys been keeping up with that idiot?"

"Yes, sir."

"Alright, stop playing with him and bring him back to me.

Also what about that green glowing circle that you guys found? Is it still active?"

"Yes, sir."

"Alright, it might be related to the outsiders. We need to leverage this situation. Otherwise,

those bitches will get all the benefits."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

The subordinate nodded and left quickly.

Meanwhile, back in Triala's territory, Sam is making good progress on the method to deal

with the sky abominations.

The key feature of these creatures is they are mostly flying, so, the vines that need the support of the ground won't be helpful for rapid spread.

However, Sam decided to take this very thing to his advantage. Birds throughout the ages are known for a phenomenon, ornithochory.

Birds either by eating or by involuntarily attaching them to their wings, always spread to the seeds from one place to another. They spread the plant species across places.

And Sam is thinking of doing something along those lines. However, this will not show results as instantly as the earth vines did. And he might have to spend some resources here. Still, he at least has a way to deal with these things for now.
