"Damn it!" he grunted, pushing himself up. "This thing isn't going down easy."
[Health Points:] 70/90
The serpent lashed out with its massive tail, aiming for Borak, who was still limping from the earlier attack.
"Borak, dodge!" Arthur yelled, but the serpent's speed was too great. The tail struck the boar squarely in the side.
-30HP
Borak let out a pained snort but retaliated immediately, charging forward and ramming his tusks into the serpent's coiled body.
The serpent hissed as Borak's attack struck true, its health dipping slightly.
-20HP
"Sunless, flank it from the left! Hank, keep going for its eyes!" Arthur commanded, his voice steady despite the chaos.
Sunless leapt forward, clawing at the serpent's side, leaving deep gashes along its scales. Hank, meanwhile, dove down with precision, his talons aiming for the serpent's other eye. The serpent thrashed wildly, narrowly dodging Hank's attack, but Sunless landed another blow.
-15HP
The serpent's health dropped further, but it seemed angrier than ever.
Roar
It let out a deafening roar, its massive body whipping around to strike Sunless.
"Watch out!" Arthur shouted, but Sunless wasn't fast enough.
-25HP
Sunless stumbled back but held its ground, its skeletal frame still moving with deadly intent.
Arthur circled around, looking for an opening. "Come on, there's got to be a weak spot..." he muttered.

The serpent raised its head high, its silver eyes glowing ominously. Arthur's instincts screamed at him.
"It's charging something! Fall back, everyone!" he shouted.
The serpent suddenly slammed its body into the ground, creating another shockwave. Arthur jumped back, but the tremor knocked him off balance.

"Damn it, that thing hits like a truck," Arthur groaned, scrambling to his feet.
Borak and Sunless were already back in the fight, attacking from opposite sides. Borak rammed his tusks into the serpent's tail, while Sunless clawed relentlessly at its neck.
Hank circled above, diving in occasionally to scratch at the serpent's head.
"Keep it up! We've got this!" Arthur encouraged.
The serpent hissed furiously, its body writhing as it tried to shake off the relentless attacks. With a sudden burst of speed, it lashed out at Hank, snapping its jaws shut just inches away from the hawk.
"Hank, pull back!" Arthur shouted.
Hank veered away just in time, circling higher to avoid another close call.
The serpent turned its attention to Borak, its tail whipping out again. This time, Borak managed to dodge, countering with a powerful charge that hit the serpent squarely in its side.
-30HP
The serpent's health bar dipped further, now below 50%.
"Sunless, go for its neck! Borak, keep it distracted!" Arthur ordered, rushing in with his dagger. He aimed for a gap between the serpent's shimmering scales, stabbing deeply.
Critical Hit!
-40HP
The serpent recoiled, letting out a pained screech. Its health was now at 40%.
"Only 40% of its health is remaining, keep it up, everyone!" He encouraged once more.
The serpent's silver eyes glowed even brighter, and Arthur knew it was preparing another powerful attack.
"It's not going down without a fight," he muttered. "We've got to finish this fast."
The serpent suddenly lunged at Sunless, its fangs bared. Sunless dodged narrowly, but the serpent's tail came around, striking the skeleton hard.
-30HP
Sunless stumbled, its movements slowing. Arthur clenched his fists.
"Damn it, Sunless is taking too much damage! He will die at this rate," he growled. "Hank, blind it! Borak hit it from the side!"
Hank dove down once again, aiming for the serpent's already injured eye. His talons raked across the sensitive area.
Critical Hit!
-25HP
The serpent let out a pained roar, thrashing wildly as its health dropped to 20%.
"We're close!" Arthur shouted, adrenaline surging through him.
But the serpent wasn't done yet. It coiled tightly, its movements becoming more efficient. It struck out at Sunless again, its fangs glinting dangerously.
"No!" Arthur yelled, seeing the attack coming.
With no time to think, Arthur activated his new skill. "Shadow Bind!" he shouted, extending his hand toward the serpent.
The cave seemed to darken as shadows surged from the ground, wrapping around the serpent's massive body. The creature thrashed violently, but the shadows held firm, immobilizing it just inches away from Sunless.
The serpent hissed furiously, its silver eyes glowing with rage, but it couldn't move.
Arthur stood there, breathing heavily, his hand still extended. "This is it. Finish it off!" he commanded his summons.
Borak charged forward, tusks aimed at the serpent's exposed side, while Sunless clawed relentlessly at its neck. Hank dove down one final time, aiming for its head.
The serpent's health bar dropped rapidly, its movements growing weaker with each strike. Arthur put most of his mana into Shadow Bind as he prepared for the final blow. Find your next read on empire
Arthur dashed, trying to finish the serpent as it was held by the Shadow Bind skill.
"Everyone, attack now!" Arthur shouted, raising his dagger high and aiming for the serpent's skull.
Just as he was about to plunge it into the beast, the shadows binding the creature shattered like glass.
The serpent hissed violently, its immense body coiling tightly as it snapped free from the spell.
"Shit! The time ran out!" Arthur cursed, stumbling backwards. "I didn't expect the difference in strength between us to be so damn big! I only got 1 second worth of crowd control."
In a blur of motion, the serpent lashed out with its tail. Arthur had no time to dodge.

[Health Points: 20/90]
The tail struck Arthur like a battering ram, sending him flying into the cave wall with a sickening crash.
He groaned loudly, clutching his ribs as he slid to the ground. Blood trickled from his mouth, and his vision blurred for a few seconds.
"Damn it," Arthur muttered, forcing himself onto one knee. With shaking hands, he pulled a health potion from his inventory and downed it in one gulp.
"Sunless! Borak! Cover me!" Arthur shouted hoarsely. He pulled out a mana potion next, drinking it hastily. The cool sensation of mana returning to his body was comforting.
"Get back in the fight!" Arthur barked, as his summons surged forward.
Sunless leapt into action, his claws slashing at the serpent's body with terrifying strength. Borak charged from the side, ramming into the creature's coiled tail with all his might. Hank swooped from above, targeting the serpent's one remaining eye.
The serpent roared in fury, its scales shimmering ominously. It whipped its head around, narrowly missing Borak with a venomous bite.
The boar grunted, backing away just in time.
Arthur grimaced. "We're barely hanging on here…"
The serpent's scales began to glow brighter, its body radiating an almost blinding light. Arthur's heart reached his throat as he realized what was happening.
"Shit! Shit! It's evolving now!" he shouted. "We're out of time! Everyone, get into it's close proximity!"
As Arthur, Borak, Sunless, and Hank closed in on the Silver Serpent, the glow became so bright that they felt like they were staring at the sun.
"Damn it! We are so close!" He muttered as he stared at his mana reseveres which were just above the halfway.
