Level Up: Voidwalker

Chapter 226 Otherworld Treehouse

Atlas engaged the Chaos Captain in a fierce battle, trading blows with determination, but he quickly realized he was at a disadvantage with only one arm. Sensing the tide turning against him, he decided to use magic.

'Time to use Void Lance to pierce its hide!'

Without thinking, he spammed Void Bullets at the creature, causing an explosion to ring out, which sent it stumbling back. The monster horde was being decimated by all the monsters and the Golem King.

'This is going better than I expected,' Atlas thought as he narrowly dodged a swipe from the Chaos Being's razor-sharp claws.

He felt the rush of wind against his armor. Seizing the moment, he unleashed a Void Blast; the projectile flew toward the creature's chest. With a resounding impact, the Chaos Being crashed backward.

Atlas followed behind while casting Void Punch and landing a blow on the monster's face, which caused it to crash into the ground and cause a crater. As that happened, more Chaos Captains appeared and surrounded him.

'Oh shit, this just got worse,' he thought.

As the leader lunged, its claws slashing through the air, Atlas found himself unable to react—its speed was overwhelming. An unexpected force intervened just a few feet away, deflecting the attack and sending sparks flying everywhere.

''Get it together, Azhar'Zul! The others are fighting too!'' Estelle shouted, her voice ringing as she unleashed a powerful Solar Slash, illuminating the battlefield.

The blade, shining with radiant energy, sliced through the creature's form, leaving a trail of brilliance in its wake as she let out a fierce battle cry. Atlas watched the Chaos Captain collapse to the ground before she started fighting more.

He joined in and started casting Void Lances that tore through the creature's body. Atlas quickly summoned the Dreadmaw Lion and Death Gorillas, who had poured out of an azure portal only to destroy the remaining monster horde.

Atlas needed to sit down as he burned through his mana. He sat on a fallen tree as Nulia and Atek appeared. He noticed they were covered in blood, but the Frostbear woman transformed into her humanoid form as she smiled.

She hugged him before asking, ''Can Atek rest in the Otherworld? I think he took some hits during the fight.''

''Of course,'' Atlas opened the portal as the Frostfang meowed thanks.

A violet glow illuminated the sky as he continued, causing a smile to break across his face. He raised his arm as Amethyst barreled into him, the impact sending them both tumbling from the tree and crashing into the ground.

Atlas removed his helmet, gazing up at the phoenix girl, who looked down at him with unrestrained excitement, her eyes sparkling with energy. Without hesitation, she grabbed his collar, leaned down, and shared a passionate kiss while straddling him.

He held her tightly, feeling the warmth of her wings wrapping around him protectively as their kiss deepened. But Amethyst suddenly pulled back, her eyes flickering with concern as they fell on his missing left arm.

"What happened to you, Azhar'Zul?" she asked softly, her voice laced with worry. Where's your arm?"

Atlas smiled faintly, lifting his stump as he spoke. "I got bit by something called a Chaos Mawling in the Chaos Realm," he explained, his tone almost casual. "But I found an artifact that'll give me a new arm. The catch is, I need to become an Arch Master to use it."

Amethyst's violet eyes glowed before a smile appeared. The other three women materialized as the two got up. Estelle, Artemis, and Grishna stared at Nulia, ignored them, and approached him, ''We should go back to the Otherworld to rest? You should have enough mana to build the treehouse now.''

''Yes, let's take the others and head there,'' Atlas replied, opening a portal before turning to his party. ''Come with me, ladies; I will explain everything that happened. More Chaos Monsters are coming, and the fortress can fight them.''

Just as he spoke, the Void Golem King charged forward and started crushing the approaching horde, and the mana cannons began firing at them. Following that, everyone entered the portal.

The four women were shocked when they witnessed a prehistoric jungle with a creepy aura. Estelle spoke while gripping her sword, ''What is this place, Azhar'Zul?''

Atlas turned to the blonde woman, who looked exactly as he remembered—unchanged by time. She wore gleaming knight's armor that did little to conceal her well-endowed chest and hourglass figure.

Her bright blue eyes sparkled with curiosity and concern as she gazed at him. Atlas smiled before closing his eyes and creating the treehouse he planned to build for a few weeks. He started to imagine a massive Sequoia tree sprouting from the ground.

Seconds later, a dark red tree erupted from the ground and shot into the sky, shocking the five women who jumped back. Atlas smiled when sensing them but started to create a treehouse at the bottom.

It looked like a fantasy version of the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse from Earth, which made Atlas smile but exhausted. He stumbled, but Amethyst grabbed him with a smile as she spoke, ''It seems like you've got a lot to tell us.''

''There is so much, but let's get inside,'' he replied while the group approached the staircase.

Five minutes later, they stood in a foyer made from beautiful light redwood with basic furniture decorating the place. Grishna stepped forward and exclaimed, ''This reminds me of the Forest Orc Tribes; they would love this place.''

Atlas watched as the orc woman approached the bathroom, unable to resist admiring her powerful physique. Her thick, well-defined muscles still maintained a distinctly feminine grace.

As she paused, Artemis turned toward him, her brown eyes narrowing in suspicion, "Why are you older?" she asked, her tone laced with confusion. "It doesn't make sense—you were the bird's age."

"Well, that's a long story, so everyone should sit down," Atlas replied, prompting the others to follow his lead.

Once everyone was settled, he sat in front of the women and began recounting his tale, starting from the day he was kidnapped. Nulia had heard parts of it before, but her shock grew as he told his story.

A few hours later, Atlas finished speaking and was nodding off but forced himself to stay awake as Artemis was the first to say, ''So you've explored the depths of the sea and been to another realm all while conquering dungeons with your new power?''

''Yes, and if you don't believe me, look outside,'' Atlas said while pointing at the treehouse's balcony.

The women did as he said and rushed outside only to see a massive herd of Scalebreakers and Thundoraptors hunting the Stegosarus-like monsters. Atlas motioned to them as he explained, ''I've been gathering creatures on my journey to add them to the Otherworld; they will aid me whenever I call.''

Estelle turned to him with an expression of horror as she questioned, ''You can control monsters?''

Atlas nodded with an innocent smile, ''Yes, and most of them are lovely, even the ones that look vicious.''

After speaking, he shouted, ''Tyson! Come here, boy.''

The five women stared at him, their expressions a mix of disbelief and skepticism, until an earth-shaking roar echoed through the air, making them jump in fright. Atlas laughed at their reactions; the sound caused the ground to tremble.

Atlas couldn't help but smile, ''Now watch my power, ladies,'' he said with a teasing glint in his eye. ''And try not to let your panties get too wet.''

Grishna laughed alongside Artemis while the others turned red at Atlas's teasing remark. When Atlas caught sight of Estelle acting like a giddy teenager, it made him smile. Without hesitation, he cast Void Step and appeared outside.

He was just in time to witness a massive monster crashing out of the jungle. It was an evil-looking Allosaurus with jet-black skin and sharp teeth that would render metal into scrap. Its eyes narrowed as it sniffed the air.

Atlas watched as it locked onto the woman and let out an angry roar reverberating through the clearing. In defiance, Grishna shot the creature the middle finger, her bravado unshaken despite the danger.

''Don't threaten them, Tyson, or I'll punch you again,'' he warned the dinosaur, who growled at him in defiance.

When Atlas saw this, he charged up his fist before dashing at the monster's head and using Void Punch to teach it a lesson. The Allosaurus crashed into the ground with a boom when his attack hit.

He knew it was dead, so he scolded it, ''Never growl at me! You seem to forget I'm your master!''

Ten smaller ones appeared and circled him as that happened, but Atlas chuckled before rushing around, beating them up until the dinosaurs were squirming on the ground after being taught a lesson.

By the time he was done, the five women had appeared and stared at him like monsters. Amethyst stepped forward and spoke in shock, ''Azhar'Zul, you do know these Terrorjaws are menaces to most races in Aridonia.''
