Let's Train Heroine

Chapter 305 Heroine and Lucan Become Couple

Lucan and Maris were stunned. What they saw was their future. They would become a couple, have a daughter, and decide to live in peaceful villages.

However, they were attacked by a mysterious force and taken away, leaving their daughter alone.

When Lucan finished watching his future, he remembered the words he read in the book: the prophecy about the future saint.

From the ashes of ruin, a saint will rise. Not bound by the chains of mortality, this saint shall wield power over life and death, light and shadow. The world shall bow before their will, and under their reign, the old order shall crumble, giving way to a new age.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

It seemed this prophecy was about his daughter, Leira. Lucan thought for a moment and turned to Aurelia, the one who had shown them the future.

"From what I can see, the future for Maris and me is not good. Even though we are strong, we are captured by some group. Do you know who they are and what their intentions are?" Lucan asked.

"No, I don't. Hm... Let me explain how my power works," Aurelia thought for a moment and said, "I have two unique powers. One, I can see the future, and second, I can change the future. I can ensure that you two won't be caught by that mysterious group but also that you won't lose the daughter you have. The daughter you give birth to will definitely be Leira, the one you saw in the future."

"But... I can only see futures that give me benefit. This is why I don't know who this mysterious group is and what their purpose is, but I know they will capture you."

"I understand. From the future we saw, we will definitely side with you to prevent what happens," Lucan said as he looked at Maris.

Maris also nodded. She looked at Aurelia, bit her lip for a moment, and said, "I will help you if we can avoid the future we saw."

Aurelia smiled and said, "Don't worry. By working with me, you won't be in any danger and can have the life you want."

Lucan and Maris nodded. It was hard to believe that Aurelia could see the future and change it, but she had given them proof by showing them some future events and changing them.

Only after that did they believe Aurelia and decide to help her.

"Now then, what do we have to do?" Maris asked.

"Nothing. For a month, I have to go out and arrange a few things. When I come back, I will train you both for the next thing," Aurelia said. "Until then, you two can enjoy."

And she disappeared.

Lucan and Maris were silent for a moment. The vision of their future lingered in their minds, a bittersweet reminder of what was to come. But then, Maris's expression shifted; a playful smile spread across her face, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

"You know," she said, leaning closer, "in that future we saw, we were quite the couple. Just look at us, united and living happily in our little village." Her tone turned teasing as she added, "I must say, I always knew I would be the one to keep you in line."

Lucan chuckled, the heaviness of their earlier conversation lifting slightly. He could no longer push things away. He looked into her eyes, a warmth blossoming in his chest, and pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her in a tight embrace.

Maris was momentarily stunned by his sudden display of affection, her breath hitching in her throat. "Lucan-sama?" she murmured, surprise coloring her voice.

He smiled down at her, his heart racing. Without thinking, he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers. The kiss ignited a spark, one that made time seem to stop as their lips moved in perfect harmony. Lucan felt Maris melt against him, her body responding instinctively to the warmth of his embrace. Their tongues mingled, exchanging soft breaths and warmth as they kissed passionately.

When they finally pulled away, their foreheads resting against each other, Maris's face was flushed bright red, a deep tomato hue that made her look even more enchanting. She blinked, momentarily speechless, as she processed the intensity of the kiss.

Lucan, still holding her close, couldn't help but smile at the sight of her flustered state. But before he could say anything, she lightly punched him in the chest, a playful spark returning to her eyes. "You naughty man," she exclaimed.

"Me? Naughty?" Lucan feigned innocence, his heart still racing from their kiss. "I was just following the natural course of things for a future couple."

Maris shook her head, laughter bubbling up from within her. "Well, if this is our future, then I can certainly get used to it."

They both shared a laugh.

"Come on," Lucan said, taking her hand and squeezing it gently. "Let's enjoy the moment while we can. After all, we have a future to make brighter."

Maris smiled, her heart swelling with affection for him. "Together, right?"

"Always," Lucan replied, and they continued walking hand in hand.

---

Aurelia had gathered five powerful individuals: Maris, Lucan, Virnda, Kerum, and Nyx. However, she was still short of one person to complete her team. Luckily, Bing was still available.

Aurelia instructed Maris to hatch the egg, let Bing to recognize her as her mother. Maris nodded.

She followed Aurelia's instructions. The egg began to crack, and within moments, a beautiful creature emerged. Although this daughter was of a different race than Maris, she possessed remarkable powers and grew at an astonishing rate, maturing in just a few days.

While Maris focused on nurturing her new daughter Bing. Nyx and Virnda took the opportunity to explore the human world. They delighted in testing various foods, experiencing the local dramas, and listening to the enchanting music that filled the air.

Meanwhile, Kerum returned to the temple, diligently working to expand its influence across every corner of the Saint's Region. His efforts were focused and strategic, ensuring that the temple would have a strong presence in the area.

As for Aurelia. She departed the Saint's Region, setting her sights on securing a position in the upcoming Regional Tournament.
