" You are late!" Just as Samuel and Nicole entered the house, they heard a loud shout before seeing two women rush toward him. He barely composed himself before holding them both in his embrace.

Kayla and Mayra had been waiting for him all night, it was already three in the morning but they hadn't slept at all. Nicole could only look from the side giving a helpless smile. It's been only a day and half but they seemed to miss him already.

" What happened? Why aren't you asleep yet?" Samuel asked. He half expected them to be sleeping. Since he knew the digital code of their home, he thought he could sneak in without disturbing them and talk to them in the morning.

" Elise had been making a fuss all night saying that why you haven't arrived yet? I have been calling you non-stop but it's saying that your phone is switched off." Mayra said while rubbing her head on his chest. Kayla and Mayra had long since accustomed to sharing him, they would aim at his side so that other party had room to hug him without any issue.

He shook his head and embraced them lovingly. It looked like he caused unnecessary problem. His phone might be off since he didn't charge it and had been busy with Delphina's affairs.

" I am sorry. Let's go rest first. I will tell you everything tomorrow." He could see their tired eyes. It was not good for him to trouble them with more worries. They hugged for couple more moment before separating, their eyes finally fell on Nicole who had been watching them from a distance.

" Nicole, why are you here?" Mayra rushed to her side grabbing her hand with a surprised look. She was taken aback to see her with him.

" Are you finally-" Kayla swallowed up her words. She looked the Samuel then to Nicole with with suspicious eyes. Everyone already knew about Nicole's one sided love for him, if she told her that she succeeded it wouldn't be unbelievable event.

" I just wanted to explore. Since young master was feeling lonely, I decided to accompany him on this trip." Even Mayra was surprised, she could faintly see the tenderness in Nicole's eyes when she looked at Samuel. Did it already happen?

" Alright, alright. You don't have to interrogate us. This time I really came to Paris for business. Coincidently, I could also see Elise which is a good thing." He could feel them getting confused seeing Nicole with him. Since, Nicole wanted to keep it a secret all he could do was to forcefully suppress their curiosity.

Fortunately, when he told them they were hungry Mayra rushed to the kitchen to heat up some food. Nicole wanted to help but Kayla led her aside for tour of their house. It was a apartment complex but their house was still considered big so there were plenty of things to see.

Samuel was left with looking after Elise who was sleeping on the sofa. He could only hold her in his arms to led her upstairs toward her room. His heart ached a little bit seeing the haggard expression on the little girl's face, anyone could tell her that she was not having a good time recently. Even her sleeping face looked like she was having a bad dream.

He channeled some of his powers to sooth her, soon her posture calmed down as she finally had a small smile on her face.

At the same time, Alan was in the bath relaxing after a tough fight. At least he was confident that he satisfied the social flower that he had been chasing for few weeks. It would always give him a sense of accomplishment, playing around with different models and celebrities. But in reality, he was drunk and barely aware of what happened few hours ago.

After a prolonged use of different kinds of substance, his body was already deteriorating even when he was in his early thirties. Being always tired and having a weak kidney, he was too proud to admit his flaws. For now he was basking in his glory waiting for the peak of his life that was still to come!

While he was busy, his cell phone rang again. The famous socialite who was blowing her hair after rinsing herself after performing disgusting act with Alan saw the phone call. She recognized the ID because it was the same person that Alan was buttering up earlier. She made a plan on the spot to fish out more information.

" Hello, who are you looking for?" She asked in a loud voice, trying to scare the other person.

" Where is Alan?" Alexis found that it was an unfamiliar female that picked up Alan's phone. She was immediately pissed. After waiting for hours for his call, she wasn't able to fall asleep all night, twisting and turning on bed waiting for day break.

The first thing she did was to call Alan, she wanted to force him over so that they could visit the Count as soon as possible!

But listening to the charming voice, she was extremely angry. How dare Alan tried to provoke her? Was he looking for death? She fully believed that it was Alan's scheme to give the phone to this whore so that he wouldn't need to answer her!

" Oh? He is taking a bath. If there is something urgent you can tell me. I will pass it on to him." The acting skill of the socialite was top-notch. She could tell the other person was angry trying to suppress her fury. Was it another of his girlfriend?

She would make sure that he wouldn't be able to escape scotch free. Trying to step on two boats at the same time? It was his wishful thinking!

" I don't care. I don't have time to talk to you. Just take the phone to him, I have a very important thing to tell him!" Alexis controlled herself from almost yelling. Gentleman? This man was deplorable, if it wasn't for his background as eldest son, she wouldn't even look at him twice much less to pretend to play 'house' with him!
