"Ahh, yes. Are the leaders of your organization here?"

"Y-Yes, Deputy Leader Veiron's room is located on the seventh floor while Big Boss Haoran is on the ninth and final floor."

"I see. Final question, what were those "additions" that you mentioned earlier today?"

"Ahh...Boss Haoran is rather fond of beauties and every time the Gorgon captured a beauty, the woman would be sent to the boss' room. As for what the boss does to those women. I believe you already know."

Hearing Varie's words, Shye's eyes widened before a surge of anger made its way into his heart.

"WHAT?!"

He wanted to rage, however, he also knew that doing so wouldn't make the situation better

Thus, he took multiple deep breaths to calm himself down before speaking again:

"My bad. Since you've been cooperative so far, I'll give you a chance to live. Guide me to the boss'' room and I'll release you."

Shye's words brought hope back to Varie's heart, prompting her to nod repeatedly like a chick.

Naturally, although she doubted that the ruthless ashen-haired young man would let her go that easily, she would grasp at whatever she could if it meant that she would live longer.

Drinking the full restoration potion Shye gave her in one gulp, the giantess wore her cloak that was unique to the organization.

On the other hand, Shye used the fallen squadron leader's cloak, allowing him to appear to be one of the organization's members.

He then disassembled the small camouflage camp and stored it inside the system's inventory before motioning for Varie to lead the way.

This time, the infiltration went smoothly.

Under the giantess' guidance, the two of them were able to bypass layer after layer of security, saving Shye the hassle of killing each small fry one by one.

Only until the fifth floor, though, as Varie's rank only did not allow her to access the sixth.

"Make sure no one bothers me for ten minutes. If someone attacks me from behind in the next ten minutes, I'll kill you. If you successfully complete this final mission, you're free to go. However, don't let me see your face ever again, otherwise, there's no need for you to worry about what to do tomorrow."

Hearing Shye's words, the giantess once again nodded repeatedly, determined to accomplish her task by hook or by crook.

"Go"

Watching the giantess leave, Shye coldly smiled.

He naturally wouldn't allow someone who had seen his appearance to escape as it might cause unnecessary problems for him in the future.

Thus, when she was unconscious earlier, he fed her a poisonous pill that would only activate after 24 hours, ensuring that no further trouble would come his way in the future.

Shifting his focus back to the mana-powered gate protected by what seemed to be two squadron leaders, Shye narrowed his eyes as he appraised the two.

Then, upon confirming that they had nothing that would pose a threat to him, Shye stopped sneaking around and opted for the direct approach, walking straight towards them with a nonchalant expression.

Naturally, the two squadron leaders immediately noticed him.

"From which squadron are you from? Don't you know tha--"

The man couldn't even finish his words as Shye already ended his life by crushing his head with a full-powered punch.

"Lector!!"

The other squadron leader exclaimed in utter shock and horror.

Lector was more or less as strong as him and if his comrade was taken out that easily, then he would surely be killed just as easily.

Hence, in one swift decisive motion, the squadron leader disappeared and reappeared in the hallway, attempting his best to flee.

Unfortunately, his speed was akin to a three-year-old child's compared to Shye's, and he was easily caught in mere seconds, encountering the same fate as the man named Lector.

He then blasted the gates open with a single powerful kick, revealing a descending staircase leading to the sixth floor.

As Shye descended the stairs, he heard harrowing howls that sounded like a blend of suffering humans and terrifying monsters, sending slight chills down his spine.

Still, although he wasn't sure if he could defeat even the weakest of (A) ranked monstrous creatures, he was sure that he could at least escape.

Hence, he continued descending with confidence despite hearing the unsettling noises.

Arriving at the sixth floor, Shye was greeted by numerous thick black metal bars jailing hundreds of humans inside.

Eerily, the humans—a mix of both adventurers and mundane folks, were sitting listlessly, staring at the distance with empty eyes.

They had varying scars and vein marks on their bodies, allowing Shye to realize that these guys were probably the unlucky ones who were chosen as lab rats.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the enormous floor, there were thousands of blindfolded humans, most of them physically well-built men and young women with aesthetically pleasing physiques.

Disturbingly, though, there were a few children in a separate cell, causing the flames of anger in Shye's heart to intensify.

Shortly after, footsteps sounded from the stairs located on the other end of the floor.

"Lector, Peco, what's the ruckus all about? Didn't I tell you two that loud noises would di–?!"

The words of a middle-aged man with a slim yet toned physique, gray hair, and a not-so-pleasant goateed look were cut short upon realizing that the young man in front of him was someone he had not seen before.

"You! Who are you?! How did you get in?!"

"You ask too many questions at once. First, I'm the man who will end you, and second, I obviously entered from the front door, you idiot."
