Chapter 2495: The Lord Of Chaos And His Servants
Chapter 2495: The Lord Of Chaos And His Servants
Within a different pocket dimension located inside of Kireina's Family House, a palace of eternal darkness and chaos stretched endlessly, creating a labyrinth amidst space and time.
This palace of darkness, which Kireina had visited in her childhood a couple of times, and a few years ago to train with her father, was created by her father's almighty powers over Chaos and Cosmic Energies.
The man, wearing a fancy black suit with purple lines, sat down over a throne made of spiraling, swirling chaos and miniature void stars, smoking a big cigar, while reading the newspaper.
"Haaah... This girl, she's going to be the end of me one of these days."
As he groaned, several figures appeared around him, their forms and shapes varying, there were seven of them, his strongest agents, servants, and assassins.
"My lord."
"We greet you today, your eminence."
"You look as evil as always, my great lord."
"Your glorious darkness beckons the end of the current era and the beginning of a new, chaotic era-"
"Tch, stop with that already!" Kireina's father complained, his empty white eyes, resembling scribbles drawn over his face made of black darkness and purple chaos, opened wide, as a frown appeared on them. "Do you have to talk like this every morning? It's exhausting."
"A-Ah, we apologize..."
"Usually that's how it goes, boss."
"I mean, aren't you the embodiment of chaos and all?"
"Of course I am but that doesn't mean I am some big evil villain! I mean, I am the boss of the greatest criminal organization of the underworld in Japan, but that doesn't mean I am a bad guy," the man sighed. "I mean... Hm. I guess I'm a bit of a bad guy huh?"
"Of course you are my lord, you sank Atlantis, don't you remember when you did that?"
"Ah... It was so long ago I kind of forgot the details... But I now regret it, they had the best smoked fish."
"And the time you ruined the Roman Empire by sending bandits, vandals, and barbarians to their dying lands for several years?"
"I did that because I needed them gone, their Gods were too annoying. And they were growing too powerful with all the Faith."
"And when you triggered the first world war?"
"That's...! Did I do that too?"
"Of course you did... you were the one that killed the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand by pretending to be a member of a Serbian extremist group!"
"Ah, that annoying fucker! He got what he deserved for trying to scam me! Can you believe he was selling me sour grapes? He promised they were sweet, and the wine came out terrible. Worst year of my life!"
"Also wasn't you the one that pushed Hitler towards the path he took?"
"What? No! I was simply trying to pretend to be an Art School Teacher back then, mostly to relax from all the destruction and chaos. And this damn kid kept making these terrible paintings with no sense of depths. Every time I told him he was doing it wrong he would get frustrated and cry! I had enough of him, and I expelled him from the school. What's wrong with that? He had it coming!"
"And yet you insist you are not the embodiment of all evil, my lord?"
"Of course not! Those things just happen... When you're the Avatar of the Primordial of Chaos of a World. It's not my fault I triggered these events, I swear!...Okay maybe that Archduke deserved it, and I might do it again!"
His servants sighed, looking at their lord.
He didn't use to be like this, back then, he was much calmer, ruthless, the embodiment of pure evil.
A being born from the fragment of a black star that fell from the cosmos beyond.
A being that had residing on Earth even before humans came to be, an Avatar of Destruction and Calamity, of Chaos and Malice.
The driving force for Earth's chaos, which at the same time, gives birth to new opportunities and new futures, to life and evolution.
Yet...
Ever since he fell in love with that Japanese Sorceress, who was a half-Yokai, that he slowly changed.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Even more when she died while giving birth to their child, Kireina.
He had promised her that he would raise and love Kireina like his greatest treasure, and that she had nothing to worry about.
Ever since then, their lord had grown softer, and softer, and softer...
Kireina became her world, that adorable little girl, which many of his agents also loved, even some of those present here.
But her existence was also becoming an increasing issue, as her demands and spoiled nature made her father grow even softer, trying to please his daughter, obeying her words at times.
However, if they were to ever say anything about Kireina, they were sure her father would pulverize them to atoms before they could even say another word.
It had happened before, after all, they used to be the Nine Apostles of Chaos, not Seven. "Master, what should we do about Frank?"
Suddenly, someone finally was bold enough to speak, it was one of the more serious of the Seven Apostles of Chaos.
A man with pale white skin, crimson bug-like eyes, and spiky purple hair, he had a slender, tall body, and behind his robes, there were insectoid exoskeleton plates around his muscular,
yet lean body.
His Aura of Poison and Darkness Elements was tremendously strong, and he was amongst the strongest of the Nine Apostles of Chaos.
"Wasp."
Their Boss glanced at the man, his unserious face quickly calming down, as the newspaper he was reading burned into ashes as black flames consumed it in a mere second.
"I had been thinking about it for a while now."
"And what conclusion have you come out with, your eminence?"
"My daughter seems to have developed... feelings for that kid."
"Eh?"
"Kireina-sama has...?"
"The young lady?!"
"But that's..."
The other Apostles panicked, yet Wasp remained calm.
"I suppose that means we won't pursue him anymore? Despite how much you said he was like you? Someone born with powers from beyond the Stars? Someone dangerous that could threaten your life? And also someone that could give you the power to reach the same level as the strongest Gods?"
Kireina's father glared at Wasp, as their eyes met.
What do you think?
