Reborn With The All Seeing Eye

Mariel stood up, looked around the garden for the last time, and walked towards the gateway.

"We'll see again, Lilly."

She smiled at Lilly over her shoulder, and entered the gateway, which closed up moment next.

"I know you're there, Mum." Lilly looked over her shoulder, seeing Aurora staring at her from the entrance.

"Hmm... I know." Aurora slowly nodded, and walked inside... Lilly quickly followed behind her.

"Mum, what did you give to Miss Mariel?" She asked, upon catching up with Aurora.

"Nothing serious, just a potion which will weakened the soldiers... And even made some weak ones fall asleep... Without strength and soldiers, the Elves will know what's feel to be helpless." She said in calm tone... Passing by countless maids and guards.

"Oh! Modena mentioned something about Hell Demons, or soldiers? Forgot the names, I want to know where they're being kept?"

"Well... The Hell Soldiers are forces baby Brother resurrected... They are his strongest fighters, you already know about the hidden blades... They are among... Where they're located? Only Modena, brother and Protean know where... The thought didn't occur to me, so I didn't ask."

King Hick sat on his throne, listening to the old men, and women before him.

The one with the longest white beard which stopped on his chest, opened his mouth:

"Emperor, You don't have more days to live, I say you give up the throne... There's no way a girl can take over the empire." He said.

"Yes."

The other four nodded in agreement.

"You all want me dead, so you can give the powers to my brother, right?" Hick asked with a frown.

"That's not what we meant, it's just... You don't have much time, at least a month, and your girls are still young to take over the throne... So while you're alive, you should give it to someone else." Another said.

"Yes, Emperor... If you're worried about your daughters, the next Emperor will take care of them... Your daughters won't lack anything."

Emperor Hick stared at them with narrowed eyes... What this old council of elders were saying all alone were filled with venom, and they were also mocking him... But the way they put it made him powerless to do anything.

"You're all correct, but what if I say my daughter already have someone who'll marry her and take the throne... He'll be the youngest emperor in history."

With his words, the five council elders were stunned, and the first quickly gave his disapproval.

"Emperor! Isn't a kid too young for the weight of the crown? And he's not even strong enough to protect the empire from monsters or other races."

"Oh? If it's about strength, he's stronger than five of you combined." Emperor Hick said with a proud smile.

"Huh?"

The five were stunned, while another, a woman looking her late 60s with gray said opened her mouth:

"Stronger than five of us? Are you saying he's a Supreme or Transcendent? If you had forgotten Emperor, Let me remind you... No child will enter the Supreme or Transcendent realm... Look at the princess, she practiced from the moment she could walk and understand things, and she's only a sky realm... And it'll take years for her to increase in realm." She sighed, and added:

Emperor Hick slammed his fist on the throne hand-rest, his cold gaze fixed on the five.

The five looked at one another, and the first elder opened his mouth;

"We're just looking out for the safety of our empire... We're the council of elders, your senators, so we have the right to say our mind... And we are worried, that's why we're asking.... Something might suddenly happen to you, and you die; what will happened then? Because you haven't mentioned your successor, the whole powerhouses will try to take the throne, and a civil war might even break out... So we're doing it for our empire's Safety."

Emperor Hick stared at the old man for a long while, then sighed softly.

'You haven't changed first elder... Always so cunning with words, don't worry... But... I need to find a way to stall them.'

He thought for some seconds, and before he could think of anything, a huge raven flew into the hall from a window...

"..."

The King, and elders stared at it in mild confusion.

The smokey bird hovered above them with the eye in his beak. Seeing the recording eye, the six frowned slightly.

Moment next, a holographic image appeared in front of the group, showing Aaron, and the kneeling Scar.

"This?"

Hick and his elders were stunned... They listened to Aaron's words, and watched in shock as he burnt Scar into ashes, and after the whole show... The holographic image disappeared, and the bird turned into smoke, which the wind blew away.

"This?? How barbarous!!! How dare Kara ask someone to kill the Emperor's brother?!! She'll have to pay for this!!" The old man said, his eyes cold

"Who was that kid?! He's so powerful that Scar was completely defenseless!! Emperor, do you know him?" The woman asked, staring at Emperor Hick.

"Yeah, I know him... He's called Jack... The strongest Student in the Protractor Academy, and my daughter's boyfriend... He's the one I was telling you about."

"...."

The five were stunned with emperor Hick's words, they looked at one another for some seconds, and turned to Emperor.

"Emperor, That kid killed your brother, will you let such a kid get your throne?"

"You heard what he said... Scar did something bad, which resulted to his death... But that didn't mean I'm happy... I'll have to speak to Kara, she doesn't have any right to act in my Empire... Let alone kill anyone in it!"

Emperor Hick stood up, staring at the four:

"Leave this to me... If you all really want to protect the Empire, go and prepare the soldiers, the monster raid is upon us."

"As the Emperor wishes." They said with a small bow.

[Elves' Kingdom.]

Whizzed!!!

Mariel walked out from the gateway, which then closed up behind her. She moved her gaze around, taking in her surroundings.

"Huh? What are you doing here? No... I should be asking, how did you get here?"

A young man in blue armor, with a bow in hand, on his armored white horse, stopped in front of Mariel.

"Commander Mike... What are you doing here?" Mariel asked In mild surprised, she quickly hid the vial, and plastered a smile on her face.

Mike stared at her for some seconds, and jumped down his horse... He walked towards her.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"You haven't yet answered my question, This is the western frontier, your territory is at the East... Wait, you should be in the academy, teaching some kids... So tell me, why are you really here?" He asked.

Mariel smiled:

"I was testing a new teleportation spell, and I end up here."

Mike raised his brows upon hearing her explanation. He smiled, and slowly started circling her:

"What? You... Learning a spell, and failed? That hasn't happened in years. Are you sure you teleported here because you mistook the spell, or you're here to see me?" He stopped in front of her.

Mariel knew Mike was the sensible one among the five commanders... But she can't just reveal her purpose... So she silently stared at him with a displeased frown.

Seeing Mariel's expression, Mike chuckled:

"Ok. Ok. Ok. No one is perfect, you might have mistaken the spell... It's a good thing you're here."

Mariel tilted her head in mild confusion: 'How was it a good thing?'

Mike walked back to his horse, and got on it... He looked down at Mariel with a smile.

"The two princes are planning on taking over the throne... They're hosting a meeting for the five commanders."

"Why?" Mariel asked, staring at Mike.

"What else? We're the iron claws of our soldiers and kingdom. They need our cooperation... To help Prince Orion take the throne." He said.

"But... What about Visco's ambitions? Or the monster raid?"

"Visco will surely try to get rid of those two, and I know Jasmine, and Ricky will follow him... Those two commanders are more evil than even me... And the Monster Raid isn't yet proven, no one knew if it's even real."

"Ok, what about you? Who will you choose?" Mariel asked again.

"Saying the truth... I don't know, well... We'll know then, won't we? Or aren't you coming?"

"I'll be there."

Mariel smiled: 'That way, I can easily use the vial.'

"Good, the day is next week... First day."

He stretched out his hand towards her:

Before Mike could think of anything, she flew away from the field.
